 During the past 7 months, I have had the fantastic opportunity to intern with Geekster, where I have honed my skills and gained a strong understanding of Java, data structures, and algorithms. Additionally, I have gained valuable experience in the Spring Boot framework.

Throughout my internship, I have worked with a range of essential tools and technologies. These include VS Code and Eclipse IDE, which have been my go-to environments for coding and development tasks. I have also become proficient in using Git for version control and collaboration, Postman for API testing and documentation, and MySQL Workbench for efficient database management.

The internship has provided me with hands-on experience in applying my knowledge to real-world projects. I have had the opportunity to work on challenging tasks, collaborate with a diverse team, and contribute to the development of innovative solutions. This experience has not only deepened my technical skills but also enhanced my ability to work in a professional environment and deliver high-quality results.

I am proud of the growth and progress I have achieved during my internship, and I am eager to leverage my newfound expertise in future endeavors.  During my tenure as a Network Support Engineer at Corus for 8 months, I had the valuable opportunity to deepen my expertise in troubleshooting various network issues at the L1 level. Additionally, I played a crucial role in monitoring client environments, ensuring smooth network operations.

As a Network Support Engineer, I developed a strong understanding of switching and routing technologies, which enabled me to efficiently analyze and resolve network connectivity problems. I became proficient in identifying and mitigating issues related to VLANs, spanning tree protocols, and routing protocols. This experience has equipped me with the skills to ensure robust network performance.

Moreover, my role allowed me to gain hands-on knowledge of the OSI model and its different layers. I became familiar with protocols and technologies associated with each layer, such as Ethernet, IP, TCP/UDP, and DNS. This comprehensive understanding of the OSI model has proven invaluable in diagnosing network issues and implementing effective solutions.

In addition to troubleshooting and network operations, I actively collaborated with cross-functional teams, including system administrators and application developers. This experience enhanced my ability to work in a dynamic environment and provided me with valuable insights into the broader aspects of IT infrastructure.

My time at Corus as a Network Support Engineer was instrumental in strengthening my technical skills, improving my problem-solving abilities, and developing a meticulous approach to network management.
